I grew up in Sunshine, Victoria, Australia in the 1950’s and ’60’s. It could have been any other place with any other adoptive parents, but it was Sunshine. In the mayhem, violence, terror, abuse, and sadness that was my childhood I have managed to salvage something and create a self identity and dignity. I created a blog to write about these times and places in the post-war era and to tell you what it was like.
